Bicycle equipment
II'm beginning to play with the thought of getting new bicycles for me and D, and in doing so, I'm also entertaining the idea of putting them together myself rather than buying a brand name bike like Giant or Merida (since we're in Taiwan). I asked this question over at a local Taiwanese forum, but thought I might post it here as well, since some readers of this blog live in other countries.
So, which is better of SRAM Rival and Shimano Ultegra (shifters, front and rear derailleurs, crankset, cassette, and maybe also the breaks). Or maybe the question should be: What are the pros and cons of each set, and why should I choose the one over the other?
